SAN DIEGO -- A ninth-inning broken-bat single to left by Christian Villanueva off Yoshihisa Hirano scored Travis Jankowski from second as the Padres walked off the D-backs, 7-6, on Saturday night at Petco Park.
Paul Goldschmidt led the Arizona offense, going 4-for-4 with a double and four RBIs.
The game was a see-saw affair from the start.
The D-backs jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning and increased it to 3-0 in the third.

The Padres answered with three in the fourth and the D-backs came right back with two in the top of the fifth to go back up, 5-3.
