PHOENIX -- Paul Goldschmidt hit career homer No. 200 in the first inning of Friday night's game against the Giants at Chase Field.
With one out in the opening frame, Goldschmidt hit a 1-0 fastball from Chris Stratton to right field that carried over the fence to tie the game at 1.
Goldschmidt ranks second on the D-backs' all-time home run list behind only Luis Gonzalez, who hit 224 homers while playing for Arizona from 1999-2006.
