MILWAUKEE -- Just when it couldn't get any worse for the struggling D-backs, it did.
Zack Godley worked out of trouble for three innings before the Brewers erupted for seven in the fourth to complete a series sweep with a 9-2 victory on Wednesday afternoon at Miller Park. It was the D-backs' seventh consecutive loss and 13th in 14 games.
Godley was tagged for eight runs (six earned) on seven hits in 3 1/3 innings, with six walks and a wild pitch. The D-backs also contributed two errors during the Brewers' big inning.
