GM Mike Hazen on why the Diamondbacks are sticking with struggling Archie Bradley, Zack Godley

When it comes to a pair of struggling pitchers, the Diamondbacks are walking a philosophical tightrope: They insist they are trying to win. And yet they continue to turn to right-handers Zack Godley and Archie Bradley on a regular basis.

More often than not, the results have not been good. Godley owns a 6.82 ERA in 63 1/3 innings. Bradley has a 5.66 ERA in 35 innings. Both have been stripped of their job titles – Godley bounced from the rotation, Bradley moved out of a setup role – and ultimately have found their way back into those roles only to struggle again.
