Diamondbacks right-hander Taijuan Walker looks for his first win since June 21 against Madison Bumgarner and the Giants on Saturday night. Follow along with updates throughout the game.
Walker out
Taijuan Walker, who has had trouble pitching deep into games, was lifted with one out in the seventh, his longest outing since July 2. Walker retired Brandon Crawford to start the seventh on a terrific diving catch by A.J. Pollock in center but then walked Pablo Sandoval after getting ahead in the count 0-2.
Manager Torey Lovullo immediately came out of the dugout and summoned to the bullpen; left-handed reliever Andrew Chafin came in to replace Walker with the Diamondbacks trying to hold on to a 2-1 lead.
