Following a head injury scare in Game 2 of the Diamondbacks’ Wild Card series against the Brewers, catcher Gabriel Moreno is cleared to play in the NLDS, according to John Gambadoro.
Moreno’s departure from the game came as a result of an unfortunate incident when Brice Turang’s swing extended a bit too far on a 3-2 count, leading to inadvertent contact between the bat and Moreno’s head.
Thankfully, the Diamondbacks received reassuring news that Moreno won’t need to enter concussion protocol.
