PHILADELPHIA -- What the D-backs couldn't do off Jerad Eickhoff for six innings, they accomplished the inning after he left the game. Arizona used a four-run seventh inning against the Phillies' bullpen to clinch a series win with a 5-1 victory on Saturday.
The D-backs sent nine batters to the plate in the seventh, finally capitalizing in an inning which propelled them to their ninth win in 10 games. Paul Goldschmidt had a two-run double, and Daniel Descalso and Brandon Drury each hit RBI singles. The damage came against Phillies relievers Edubray Ramos and Casey Fien.
