Monsoons don't discriminate when it comes to power outages.
A major storm that moved through the Phoenix metro area Monday night left more than 100,000 residents without power.
It also knocked out some pretty important lights at Chase Field during the Diamondbacks' 9-5 loss to the Rangers.
With the game tied at 4 in the top of the sixth inning, Diamondbacks reliever Jorge De La Rosa was preparing to unload a 3-2 pitch to Rangers outfielder Delino DeShields when some of the lights on the field went out.
"It's a lot darker on the field than it is on your TV set," broadcaster Steve Berthiaume said on the Fox Sports Arizona broadcast.
