DENVER – Music blared through the visitors’ clubhouse as the Diamondbacks finished their postgame meals and packed their bags for home. It was an unusual scene coming from a team that had just lost its second consecutive game, but the Diamondbacks seemed to be taking the long view in their just-completed road trip.
“We’re definitely upset with dropping the final two, but there was definitely a different feel in the clubhouse and out on the field during this road trip and it’s going to continue,” third baseman Jake Lamb said after his team suffered a walkoff, 9-7 loss to the Colorado Rockies on Sunday afternoon.
