After trailing 4-1 early on, the Diamondbacks did what they have done all season: comeback and win.
It was a grand slam from Stone Garrett in the first inning that boosted the Nationals into a three-run lead. However, starting pitcher Tommy Henry would then settle down nicely. Henry allowed just one more run in the following four innings before Arizona went to the bullpen.
The ability of rookie Tommy Henry to limit any further damage allowed the Diamondbacks offense to really get things rolling. This offensive onslaught began with a two-run fourth inning.
