The Diamondbacks have won back-to-back games against the Nationals and have cruised into holding the most wins in the National League.
Zach Davies got the start for Arizona. He provided 6.2 innings of two-run baseball in his first solid start back from an oblique tear a few months ago.
Davies was credited with the win as he exited the game with a 3-2 victory.
The Diamondbacks offense stayed hot, even without Lourdes Gurriel Jr. in the lineup. The 1-2 hitters combined for a 14-25 night at the plate, all of which had themselves multi-hit games.
