The Arizona Diamondbacks recalled RHP Jake Barrett from Triple-A Reno, as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart. Following last night's game, RHP Dominic Leone was optioned to Reno. Barrett, 24, has appeared in 6 games for the D-backs (3.86 ERA, 3 ER in 7.0) this season, his first in the Majors. In 3 games for the Aces, he is 1-0 with 1 save and 2.2 scoreless innings.
Leone had been the mop-up guy in the last two games of the St. Louis series, and hadn't done much to justify a longer stay, allowing three runs over 2.
