Diamondbacks’ Randall Delgado to Get a Shot at 2016 Rotation

Much like the field of Republican Presidential candidates, the Arizona Diamondbacks figure to have a bevy of arms contending for their 2016 rotation. You can now add Randall Delgado to the host of others that are vying to be a part of the starting five.

According to Steve Gilbert at mlb.com, Arizona plans on letting Delgado audition for starting gig during Spring Training. Manager Chip Hale had this to say:

In Spring Training [next year] Dave and Tony they’d like to see him as a starter, so he’s going to be thought of in that way,” Hale said referring to GM Dave Stewart and chief baseball officer Tony La Russa.
