Diamondbacks prospect Jazz Chisholm is known for his smooth left-handed swing, a swing he’s usually not shy about unleashing early in his at-bats. But so far in spring training he has taken a different approach to his trips to the plate.
“Normally, I’m really aggressive,” Chisholm said. “I’m just trying to get the right pitch to swing at, take more walks, be more patient at the plate now. I’m trying to let the pitcher come to me instead of going to them. That’s been my approach lately.”
Chisholm is widely regarded as the Diamondbacks’ best position player prospect.
