MLB’s No. 30 prospect, Druw Jones, is expected to miss a couple of weeks after suffering a right hamstring strain, per Nick Piecoro.
Since being drafted as the second overall pick by the Diamondbacks in the 2022 draft, Jones has unfortunately sustained three injuries already. One of these stepbacks was a season-ending shoulder injury that required surgery less than a month after the draft.
Due to these injuries, Jones has barely seen any time in the minor leagues.
