Aaron Blair had himself a little working vacation earlier this month. The Arizona Diamondbacks’ top pitching prospect represented the United States in the Pan American Games. On July 13th, the right-hander earned a victory by allowing two runs in five innings as the U.S. defeated Colombia by a score of 5-3. Team USA went on to lose the gold medal game to Canada in a thrilling, 7-6 ten inning affair. It was now time for Blair to resume his regular duties.
On Friday, he returned to the mound for the Reno Aces to face the Las Vegas 51’s.
