If you watched last night’s game and saw Robbie Ray pole-axed by a 108 mph line-drive, you’ll probably be amazed he even returned to the ballpark after a CT scan. The trip to the concussion disabled list just announced by the team is almost a formality. There is an off-day on Monday and the team could utilize that to keep everyone on a five-day rotation, not needing any replacement pitcher for Ray until next Sunday. He would be eligible to return by that point, though of course, health concerns should and will take priority in any decision there.
