Diamondbacks pitchers continue funk in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA – The Diamondbacks' pitchers funneled out of a hallway and into the stillness of the visitors' clubhouse. They had just been beaten again by the Philadelphia Phillies, swept in three games in a matchup of underwhelming baseball teams, and the pitchers had been summoned to a back room before the media gained entry.

"We just had a group hug," right-hander Josh Collmenter said. "Hug it out and move on to Miami."

They could use it. Nothing much went right in Sunday's 6-0 loss to the Phillies, just as little has been going their way over the past 10 days, in which they've won just two of nine games.
