In case you somehow missed it, two-time MVP Shohei Ohtani recently signed a massive $700 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Which means the Arizona Diamondbacks will have to deal with the daunting task of not only pitching to but also hitting against Ohtani 13 times next season.
While the Diamondbacks did sweep the Dodgers in the NLDS and have also had a pretty successful offseason thus far, there is only so much you can do to hold back arguably the greatest baseball player of all time.
However, D-backs owner Ken Kendrick seems unfazed by the addition of Ohtani to the Dodgers’ roster.
