The Arizona Diamondbacks secured their third consecutive win, improving their spring training record to 5-3 following an offensive onslaught against the Cincinnati Reds.
In the leadoff spot, Corbin Carroll went 3-3, including a single to start the game, which he came around to score on, propelling the Diamondbacks to an early lead.
Kyle Garlick, who signed to a minor-league deal last week, had a monster game, blasting a two-run home run in the 2nd, followed by a solo homer in the 4th.
Noteworthy contributions also came from Timothy Tawa, who went 3-for-3 with a two-run homer in the ninth inning, and Neyfy Castillo, who achieved a 2-for-2 line, driving in two runs.
