The Arizona Diamondbacks may have hit a new season low as they were shutout by the San Francisco Giants in the series finale on Thursday.
While the D-backs did outhit the Giants 6-2, all six hits were singles, and two were wiped out by a double play. Meanwhile, the Giants just needed one solo home run from LaMonte Wade Jr. in the fourth inning to hand them a win.
And this is a shame, considering the Diamondbacks offense wasted rookie Brandon Pfaadt’s best start of the season.
