Welington Castillo heard the question and let out a small laugh. The first two starts turned in by the new 1-2 punch atop the Diamondbacks’ rotation did not go well, but Castillo finds the notion of being even mildly concerned about Zack Greinke and Shelby Miller comical.
“I don’t think you can judge anybody by one start,” Castillo, the Diamondbacks’ catcher, said. “I know everybody thinks highly of Greinke and Miller, but they’re human, too. They’re going to make mistakes.”
They’ve made some in the season’s first two days. Both pitchers served up three home runs apiece.
