The Diamondbacks Minor League affiliates combined for a 3-3 record last night.
(AA) Jackson Generals 9, Montgomery Biscuits 1: After exchanging zeros for the first two innings, the Generals would get the first two runners on and capitalize on a defensive miscue for a 4-run inning. Daulton Varsho would hit a ground ball to the 2B, who sailed the throw home to allow 2 runs to score. Drew Ellis would follow up with a line shot home run to left-center to make it a 4-run frame. That allowed Matt Peacock to focus on pitching, as he turned in one of his best performances of the year with 7 innings of 1-run ball with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts.
