Yesterday afternoon’s shellacking at the hands of the Twins brought the D-backs to the half-way point in the season with a 39-42 record. That’s nine games back of where they were at the same point in 2023. Last year they did struggle more in the second half. Hopefully, that won’t be the case this season, with the prospect of regaining three starting pitchers and two everyday position players at various points going forward. Still, with half of this campaign now in the books, that’s a big enough sample size to take a look and see who has been impressive and who has not, among the forty-two players to have pulled on the Sedona Red so far.
