Bit of a soft spot in the schedule for the Diamondbacks, with their next twelve games all coming against opponents who are below .500 at the time of writing: the Marlins, Rangers, Mets and Giants. Indeed, after the Padres - and they are currently just one game above .500 - it goes on with series against the Angels, White Sox and Nationals, making for a spell where 21 of 25 games are versus losing teams. It definitely seems like a good time for the D-backs to make a move. Going 15-10 over this spell would be a good target to aim for, I feel, although of course, more would be better.
