- Selected from Triple-A Reno: LHP Brandon Hughes
- Placed on 15-day injured list: RHP Ryne Nelson (right shoulder inflammation; retro to Sept. 11)
- Designated for assignment: C Andrew Knizner
James already did a separate piece about this, mostly talking about Nelson. I want to mention Hughes and Knizner. The latter... I wasn’t aware was even on the roster. having been selected by the D-backs off waivers from the Rangers on August 8th.
