Following up on the 11-2 win in Game 1 of the NLDS on Oct. 7 against the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Arizona Diamondbacks took a 2-0 lead in the series as they won 4-2 on Oct. 9.
Arizona started off two nights ago with a six-run first inning, and they went started right on-time tonight.
In the top of the first inning, Diamondbacks right fielder Corbin Carroll walked, second baseman Ketel Marte bunted to get a single and designated hitter Tommy Pham singled to left field, the bases were loaded with no outs.
