Diamondbacks fall to Pirates in ninth inning

Recap: Pittsburgh scored the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth inning to beat the Diamondbacks 2-1 and waste a spectacular performance by Diamondbacks starter Rubby De La Rosa.

Neil Walker doubled with two outs off Arizona closer Addison Reed and then scored on an RBI single through the infield by left fielder Starling Marte. Arizona had a chance to take the lead in the bottom of the eighth when Ender Inciarte and A.J. Pollock started the inning off with singles, but Paul Goldschmidt, Mark Trumbo and Aaron Hill couldn't get a runner home. De La Rosa had his best start of the season, allowing just one run and four hits in seven innings.
