Now that the 2015 World Series is over, teams can move on to preparing for the 2016 season. Several teams already have announced that they'll be picking up or declining contract options on their players, and the Diamondbacks have done the same for relievers Brad Ziegler and Josh Collmenter.
Ziegler has a $5.5 million option for next season. The club would have had to pay him $1 million if they declined it. Collmenter has a $1.825 million option. The teams had five days after the World Series to decide.
Ziegler recently turned 36, but just completed one of his best seasons as a pro, posting a 1.
