Diamondbacks' Derrick Hall: MLB still hoping to play full season after coronavirus delay

The Diamondbacks, along with the rest of baseball, brought an early end to spring training on Thursday and pushed back Opening Day by at least two weeks due to growing concerns about the spread of the coronavirus, decisions that fell in line with those made by other college and professional sports leagues across the country.

“I think these are appropriate moves right now,” Diamondbacks CEO Derrick Hall said, “just with the uncertainty and the focus on the virus.
