Diamondbacks decline Calhoun, Clippard options, exercise Kelly

There have been rumblings for a few days, and it seemed largely pre-determined, but now it’s official.

The #Dbacks made the following roster moves today:

-Exercised the 2022 club option for Merrill Kelly
-Declined the 2022 club option for Kole Calhoun
-Declined the 2022 mutual option for Tyler Clippard

Technically, the Arizona Diamondbacks had a few days to come to a decision in regard to whether or not to exercise their options on Kole Calhoun, Tyler Clippard and Merrill Kelly.
