Diamondbacks catcher Chris Iannetta received several stitches in his upper lip and suffered a nose fracture and a couple fractured teeth after getting hit in the face during Friday's game against the Pirates at Chase Field.
Manager Torey Lovullo said Iannetta is still being evaluated but was at the ballpark Saturday after going to the hospital Friday evening. Iannetta received a CT scan and went through concussion protocol, and the results for both were negative, Lovullo said.
"He's doing OK," Lovullo said.
A timeline for a recovery hasn't been set as the team wants to be patient with Iannetta.
