Diamondbacks' bats rescue Bumgarner, can't catch Padres in Opening Day loss

The Diamondbacks rallied from a big deficit, blew a late-inning lead and lost a game on Thursday afternoon. It was a sequence of events that tends to produce a sour mood in a baseball clubhouse; getting blown out can often be easier to process than dropping a close game.
