Diamondbacks’ A.J. Pollock Makes the NL All-Star Team

About a week ago, I stated that A.J. Pollock would make the National League All-Star team. Thanks to the wisdom of Bruce Bochy, my prediction came true. The Arizona Diamondbacks’ center fielder will be off to Cincinnati next week to participate in his first Mid-Summer Classic.

The other four D’back divisional rivals also had players that were named as reserves. Rookie Joc Pederson (Dodgers) and former Snake Justin Upton (Padres) join Pollock in the outfield. Third baseman Nolan Arenado (Rockies) and shortstop Brandon Crawford (Giants), who like Pollock, were selected for their first All-Star Games.
