The Arizona Diamondbacks enjoyed one of their best victories of the season last night with a rousing 6-4, 10-inning triumph over the first place Houston Astros. Of course, it couldn’t have been a great victory without some sort of other D’backs’ drama. A.J. Pollock left the game after singling in the seventh inning with Cliff Pennington entering the game to pinch-run for him. Steve Gilbert at mlb.com was able to fill in the blanks:
