Diamondbacks center fielder A.J. Pollock fractured his right elbow Friday against the Royals, manager Chip Hale announced after the game.
After Pollock slid into home in the second inning of the spring-training game, he immediately grabbed his elbow. Trainer Ken Crenshaw came out of the dugout and escorted Pollock back to the dugout.
Pollock did not come back into the game.
