The D-backs went undefeated on the last day of the Cactus League season. At Camelback Ranch, they beat the White Sox 8-4, behind a four-run third inning. The B-offense got it done, with two hits apiece for Jack Hurley and Caleb Roberts, while A.J. Vukovich went deep in the ninth with a two-run shot. Jeff Brigham operated as an opener, and allowed two runs over two innings on two hits and a walk with three strikeouts. Ryne Nelson, whom it was announced Sunday will work out of the bullpen, was charged with two runs over his 2.2 innings, scattering five hits and a walk, also with three strikeouts.
