Another solid victory on both sides of the ball for the Diamondbacks. They took advantage of a Rockies error in the first inning, as Eugenio Suarez crushed a 444 foot home-run to left with two men aboard (below), for a quick 3-0 lead. A.J. Vukovich, a late sub for Randal Grichuk, went deep in the second, and Garrett Hampson delivered spring tacos after an overturned strike three call became a RBI single. Ildemaro Vargas added a homer in a three-run sixth inning, followed up by RBI doubles from Hampson and Tristin English. Vukovich and Hampson each had a pair of hits, while Suarez added a walk to his bomb.
