Ketel Marte’s left hamstring has left a very large shadow over this victory by the Diamondbacks. His hamstring strain in the top of the 1st seemed to be a gut punch that took Pfaadt and the offense a couple innings to recover from, but recover they did. Corbin Carroll launched a pair of home runs and Randal Grichuk hit the go-ahead 2-run double in the 7th with 2 outs and 2 strikes to give the Diamondbacks the final margin of victory.
Brandon Pfaadt went 6 innings once again, but a Quality Start eluded him this time when he gave up a solo home run with 2 outs in the 6th.
