Robbie Ray got back to form, and Peter O'Brien got into one, keying the win as the D-backs took a rare home series, finishing off the Marlins at Chase Field.
Three hits and a walk were all the Marlins managed against Robbie Ray this afternoon - with the aid of a couple of double-plays, he faced only two batters over the minimum. He pitched into the eighth inning, striking out the two batters he faced there, but was at 116 pitches, so there was no point pushing the envelope, especially with the D-backs holding a six-run advantage to that point.
