The Diamondbacks welcomed the Twins to town and had a nice little streak to continue. After their dreadful record in the opening game of series to start the season, the D-backs had won each of their last 6 series openers. Standing between Snakes’ starter Brandon Pfaadt and that seventh straight series opening win was 43-35 Twins and their ace, Joe Ryan.
Like we saw in D.C., the Twins came out swinging on the first pitch against Pfaadt. A first pitch single was erased on GIDP by the next hitter, and in total, it only took Brandon 6 pitches to earn 3 outs.
