The Diamondbacks rotation will feature Zack Greinke, Robbie Ray, Shelby Miller, and possibly Patrick Corbin and/or Rubby De La Rosa. The Diamondbacks should prepare for 2017 as if De La Rosa will undergo Tommy John surgery and build up starting pitching depth. In terms of reinforcements, the Diamondbacks only have lefty pitching prospect Anthony Banda to call up from this point forward. The starting pitching depth is nearly razor thin. The biggest rotation battle could come down to 25-year-old righty Braden Shipley and 26-year-old righty Matt Koch. Shipley was the Dbacks top pick in the 2013 draft and Koch was acquired before the trade deadline in August 2015.
