The D-Backs came into Coors field tonight looking to erase the sour taste of a disappointing 3-7 home stand. In order to do so, the first order of business would be to get going on offense. Having failed to score in the final 12 innings of the 16 inning marathon series finale against the Padres, this did not shape up to be an easy task. Facing off against lefty Tyler Anderson, who pitched back to back 8 inning shutouts vs. the Dodgers and Giants, the D-Backs had their work cut out for them.
