The Diamondbacks had a couple of false starts this evening before they got the offense going tonight. They wasted a one out double from Paul Goldschmidt in the first, and then again wasted a single from John Ryan Murhpy and a walk from Nick Ahmed. Things went better in the third inning. Jon Jay lead the inning off by doing what he does best and getting hit by a pitch. Paul Goldschmidt flew out for the first out but moved him to second. Jake Lamb followed that up with an RBI double to break the shut out.
