Clayton Kershaw was a big, mean bully for the first six and a third innings, and, honestly, that’s all you really need to know. Chris Iannetta drew a couple walks off of him, but that was it.
While that was going on, Patrick Corbin was being painfully average. The Dodgers wasted little time in getting things going off him in the first inning. Logan Forsythe lead off the game with a double. Corey Seager struck out, but Justin Turner singled, bringing home Forsythe. Cody Bellinger walked, but Chris Taylor and Enrique Hernanez struck out to end the inning.
