Jeremy Hellickson seemed to spend a lot of time pitching out of the stretch, which inevitably brought things grinding to a halt. The first three outs took 16 minutes, and that largely set the tone for the afternoon. Still, if you're pitching a shutout, you can take as long as you want. Hellickson scattered four hits and three walks over six innings, with six strikeouts, throwing a total of 94 pitches, completing a series where our rotation allowed one run over 27 innings of work. Andrew Chafin, David Hernandez and Brad Ziegler took the lead the rest of the way, Hernandez fanning two of the three batters he faced.
