Eduardo Rodriguez and the D-backs took a perfect game into the sixth inning this afternoon at Salt River. E-Rod looked particularly good, retiring all eleven batters he faced, six of them on strikeouts. Kevin Ginkel got the last out in the fourth, and Shelby Miller worked a perfect fifth, before A.J. Puk gave up the challenge in the sixth. After striking out the first two he faced, he allowed a home-run to Sammy Stafura, before rebounding with another K. Joe Mantiply and Justin Martinez put up zeroes in the seventh and eighth, though the former allowed a hit and a walk.
