The Arizona offense got off to a quick start against San Francisco in Scottsdale. CF Jarrod Dyson singled, taking second on an error, and after another single by 3B Eduardo Escobar, Dyson came across for the first run of the game. The D-backs advantage was doubled in the third inning on LF David Peralta’s first homer, coming with two outs. Robbie Ray was looking good, striking out seven of the first ten Giants he faced. But he ran into trouble in the fourth, allowing four consecutive SF batters to reach, as the Giants leveled the game, scoring twice.
