Well, that sucked.
Shelby Miller was actually a lot better through the front four inning, matching zeroes with his opposite number on the Cardinals - Miller even struck out the St. Louis side in the third. But the key play came in the top of the fifth. With two on and one out, the Cardinals' hitter lofted a fly-ball to shallow right-center, where Chris Owings' effort to catch it... Well, left a lot to be desired, as shown above. One out later, a three-run homer made it 5-0 to the visitors. Somehow, the play was called a double, and Miller charged with all five runs as earned.
