The Diamondbacks continued their east coast swing tonight in Boston with a hold on the number 1 Wild Card slot thanks to last night’s Padres loss. This has been the third Friday in a row that I’ve had the pleasure recapping a Ryne Nelson start, and he pitched this game much like he has in every game since the Break. The best offense in baseball backed him up with Jordan Montgomery levels of support so Ryne could leave the ballpark with a W.
